Liza Clutario, Storm Staff, won the Asian Intercity Bowling Championship gold medal for the women’s masters event in Tamuning, Guam. Clutario, representing Paranaque City, used her NXT Dimention and Thunder Struck to roll a 3748 series over 16 games to win the title. Team mate Lara Posadas, Roto Grip Staff, was equally impressive as she used her Cell and Nomad Pearl to finish with a 3719 series and a silver medal in the same event. Tamuning bowler Felymar Mandapat finished with the bronze medal with a 3678 series. Lara and Liza teamed up with Cecilia Yap and Lucy Cheng in the team of four to finish with the silver medal behind the host city and ahead of Pohang City who eventually won the over all city title.
Both Liza Clutario and Lara Posadas, team Bowlmart and PBAP members , also took the silver and bronze medals in the women’s single event respectively. Liza rolled a 1335 series while Lara rolled a 1297 six game series. Posadas also captured the bronze medal in the women’s all events.
