PTBA bowler Allan Co captured the Bevida-Storm Challenge 2009 title. Along with the champions trophy comes 100,000 pesos. Allan averaged 201 scratch and finished with a 10 game series of 2264 to win the challenge. PBAP-Bowlmart’s Lara Posadas made a great run in the position round with a 260 game to finish second. Lara, a Roto Grip staff, finished with a 2228 series. Frank Russo of Guam-Bowlmart slipped to third with a 2198 series. LCTBA’s Egay Latag also made a move with his 2183 series to edge out PBA’s Nelia Santos by three pins. Another youth bowler from PBA , Paolo Darroca finished with a score of 2151 to finish in sixth place just five pins better than senior bowler Dennis Ho from PBAP-Bowlmart. SJBA-Ateneo bowler, Scott Uy is in eighth place with 2138 to finish a pin ahead of PBA bowler Nilo Penado. Guamanian Jonathan Duenas (2122), PTBA’s Hamilton Hernando (2110), and SLETBA-Bowlmart bowler Jeremy Posadas (2093) rounds up the top 12 position and cashers in the Challenge.
